About Our Brasada Project
These clients came to us after their new vacation home was already framed and even drywalled and they realized they had no plan for what came next. The entire home was a blank canvas and they were overwhelmed with all of the decisions they were needing to make for their builder. We got to work creating a palette for the entire home to include tile, lighting, hardware, fixtures, finishes and furnishings for certain areas.
New Construction
This project was a comprehensive full-service design for a new construction home and ADU to serve as a vacation home. From space planning to finish selections, our studio oversaw nearly every detail to ensure both a functional and aesthetic purpose this family could enjoy for decades to come.
Scope of Work

Special Attention Paid to the Site / Location
The home features expansive high-desert landscape views in all directions with the Three Sisters Mountain Range front and center. We relish any opportunity to make the most of landscape views and much thought went into bringing the outside in to ensure our color palette was cohesive with the lava rock, sage, juniper, rabbit brush and mountains outside their doorstep.
Interior Design Style / Aesthetic
This project features a modern mountain aesthetic with with clean lines and thoughtfully chosen materials to convey an earthy aesthetic that is cohesive with the outdoor landscape. Tall ceilings and expansive windows with epic views create an airy, open feel, complemented by warm wood flooring and cabinetry and a large stone fireplace surround. In each of the four bathrooms, unique tile choices complement one another and adhere to a neutral palette with a focus on texture to keep things visually intriguing as you move from one space to another.
Color Palette
The inspiration for our color palette was right outside those expansive windows. Sage, terracotta, charcoal, ivory and brown tones combine with unique textures throughout the home to keep things both neutral and timeless yet visually exciting.
Project Timeline
The construction for this home took over a year and our design work was condensed into about 8 months of that.
